About Jonathan Loebl (me)
I was born and raised in northwest Houston (The Branch), and I was indoctrinated into the running lifestyle by my marathon-running mom when I was about seven. (See pictured.)
You’d think I would’ve rejected it after being thrown into the deep end so young, but for some reason, I became obsessed. Maybe it was because I was too short for the football team, or because my LEGO YouTube channel never took off.
What stuck was how running makes me feel — mental health, physical health, and community. It’s carried me through the best times and the worst, and it’s been part of my life for nearly 20 years.
Still, there were moments I wanted to quit, and that’s where a good coach made all the difference.
Now I want to help make running sustainable for you.
We all have different reasons for starting and different goals in the sport.
Maybe you want to: get active again, need accountability, feel stuck on a plateau, or are ready to level up. I’ve been in all of those places, and I’d love to help you get where you want to go.

find your plan
I have some stuff you might like.
That’s the dictionary definition. But to me, “loco” also means not subscribing to the status quo pushed by some online coaches or generic AI plans.
Yes, I’m science-backed. No, I don’t believe in outdated or harmful approaches like starving yourself or skipping rest.
And let’s be honest — you’re probably a little crazy if you ended up on my website.
So why not hire someone who actually fits your needs?
what is locomotion?
Let’s be realistic. You train alone, something gets in the way — an injury, a mental block — and suddenly you’re spending more money trying to fix it with new shoes, doctor visits and trial-and-error solutions.
We’re often taught that taking care of ourselves should be cheap. But your body doesn’t know the difference, and it will catch up with you eventually. Hard truth.
Why not invest early and train smart?
Think of this like an investment in your education. It’s not just a fitness plan — it’s a chance to change your mindset and your habits.
All it takes is consistent communication and a willingness to accept guidance.
But if you’re ready, let’s do it.
